👋 About Me

Hello! I’m Haochuan Li (李浩川). 👋 I’m an Algorithm Engineer at Alibaba, working on large-scale personalized recommendation for Taobao.

🎓 I hold a master’s degree from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS), where I was fortunately mentored by Dr. Leigang Qu and Dr. Wenjie Wang, under the supervision of Prof. Tat-Seng Chua. During my master’s and undergraduate studies, I interned at ByteDance 🏢 and Microsoft 💻, where I was supervised by Dr. Nan Li. For more details, please see my CV.

🤖 I’m passionate about Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and 🎵 Music. My research interests include Generative Recommendation and Large Multi-Modal Models.

🎸 My favorite artists include David Tao (陶喆), Khalil Fong (方大同), Yellow (黄宣), and Dean Ting (丁世光). I’m also a zero-shot singer and guitarist—always up for a jam session, music is life!

💻 Experience

• Working on large-scale personalized recommendation for Taobao

• Mainly works on TikTok E-commerce Large Multimodal Model pretraining & SFT and SPU/SKU ranking, in deep collaboration with search and recommendation teams.

• Mainly works on Large Multi-modal Models(LMMs) generation and retrival with Dr. Leigang Qu and Dr. Wenjie Wang

• Mainly works on Fine-grained Ranking models for Windows and Edge homepage news recommendation feed which provide content services to over 1 billion Windows users.

• Mainly works on analyzing the way that MLOps has been integrated into open source projects’code base and study bugs related to the integration of MLOps with Dr. Zhimin Zhao
